The following changes will be live with Patch 11 deployed at 7:00PM PDT (GMT - 07:00) March 27th 2015:

  • PVP Related Changes for 51a Era Accuracy:
    • Armor absorbing damage algorithm has been modified to be in line with 51a, thus allowing weapons to be more effective against armors by an average of 10%.
    • Hit rate on weapons has been increased by an average of 25%. (Your hit ratio is more dependent on your combat action and tactics and less dependent upon the combat action and tactics of your opponent).
    • Explosion now scales properly against AR (it doesn't take as much AR to prevent Explosion from doing so much damage).
    • Explosion is now an Area of Effect spell.
    • Max amount you can heal by using bandages was adjusted to be 51a accurate.
    • Hiding will fail if you are harmed while attempting to hide.
    • Hiding is prevented while you are in combat.
    • Stealth has a longer range on average, more closely aligned with 51a.
    • Upon being harmed, you automatically attack back (go into combat) with someone if you aren't in combat already. (This won't flag you as gray unless you cast a spell on them or select to attack them directly). This was necessary to allow hiding to function properly.
    • Explosion potions go to where you targeted them to go. If you target a player, it will no longer follow them.

  • Crafting changes:
    • Carpentry now allows players to craft the following items: blank scrolls, bar furniture, more tables, full bookcase, bulletin board, more cooking craftables and a piano deed.
    • Alchemy has had the total mana potion made slightly easier to craft (less failures).
    • Tailoring now allows players to craft the following items: bags, backpacks, pouches.
    • Tailoring now allows players to craft the following armors:
      • Elven Leather - full set is 35 AR and adds +10 to both Archery and Tactics when equipped.
      • Dragon Scalemail (two colors) - full set is 35 AR and adds +10 to intel when equipped.
      • Daemon Bone Leather - full set is 35 AR and adds +10 to strength when equipped.

  • Power Hour has been introduced and works like the following:
    • Your first hour logging in that day is power hour.
    • During power hour the amount you will gain from a skill is doubled (if you would normally gain 0.1, you'd gain 0.2 during power hour).
    • During power hour the gold that is dropped on monsters is doubled.
    • Power hour lasts one hour, and then will be available again 24 hours later. If you are logged in when power hour is available again, it will take effect. If not, it will take effect the next time you login.
    • You can type "power hour" in game to find out if you are currently in your power hour, or how long until you will be if you aren't.

  • Added in nostalgic monsters such as Sprites, Barbarians, Dark Elves, Woodland Elves, Eithka Ulesra, Eithka Ocksra, Sprites, and Vampire Lord.
  • Dragon scale colors have been changed.
  • You are no longer to mine or lumberjack concurrently with multiple tools.
  • Casting and attacking in regions where they are prevented should be fixed.
  • Summoned skeletal mages can be dispelled as they should have been all along.
  • Player dispelling (with either dispel or mass dispel) another player's summoned creatures will always succeed (they won't resist the chance to dispel). This doesn't affect PVE and only PVP as if you summon a creature and an NPC tries to dispel it, your creature will still have a chance to resist the dispel.
  • Untamed mounts decay in 72 hours in a house now (made it longer to decay as it was 20 hours before).
  • Blessed shields no longer break. (Chaos and Order shields).
  • You are no longer flagged as a criminal if you have a red pet and someone calls guards on it.
  • When a pet is attacked, it no longer indefinitely attacks it's provoker and goes out of combat as it should. (This was causing a bug which allowed a player to be flagged a criminal hours later after losing a pet because it was still fighting someone).
  • Using scissors on yourself will cut all your hair and facial hair (go bald).
  • You no longer need to dismount before mounting another mount.
  • Added advanced gates which can restrict criminals and murderers, require full health, prevent players who were recently in combat. These will be used for the Vendor Mall.
  • Server crashing issue regarding inputting Unicode characters into chat systems has been fixed.
  • Server crashing issue regarding guild menus have been fixed.
  • Res on corpse distance was increased by 1 tile to be era accurate.
  • Guardians now deal melee damage as they should, and are typically able to kill you in two hits.
  • Special colored dragons drop better loot than dragons.
